Tofstead". Back in the day this all leather luggage was top of the line! Both pieces with leather handles and both with working mechanisms. The small carry-on bag has an old baggage id label with Henry Tofstead's stats from Western Airlines. The lining of the smaller bag is stained in places could use a good cleaning but it intact. The zipper closure is working fine but needs a stitch or two in one area. It is certainly usable as it sits! The larger bag appears to be lined in a silk fabric. It has multiple compartments, all trimmed in leather. There is one leather strap that needs repair and a few spots here and there but overall it is perfectly imperfect for those of us who enjoy a bit story in our vintage. Of course there are scratches and scrapes here and there which gives these pieces a wonderful patina.
