  • George Nelson Equinox Tripod Floor Lamp
    shophorne.com
First designed in 1947, the George Nelson Bubble Lamp Collection has stood the test of time. The simple structural shapes with the innovative use of taut plastic over fine steel wire were born from George Nelson's frustration to buy a Swedish-made silk lamp which produced a soft light. This unique use of shape and material produces a diffused light that is free of glare while offering an abundance of illumination. These pieces are part of the permanent collection in the Museum of Modern Art in New York and remain icons in modern lighting. Modernica discovered these designs and reintroduced the series in 1989 with a dedication to reproducing these stunning, classic lights with authenticity and craftsmanship. Modernica still uses the same materials and methods to hand craft each piece in their Michigan facility. The George Nelson Bubble Equinox Tripod Floor Lamp is built to become a family heirloom. Plastic coating over steel wire frame and a brushed nickel plated steel base. The has 9 foot cord and easy on/off floor switch.

  • Serge Mouille Big Totem Floor Lamp
    shophorne.com
Deviating from the typical bug-like designs of Serge Mouille, this lighted column brings new dimension to the designer’s family of products. As Mouille explored columns in his Post Black Shapes period, he stacked cylindrical shades interspersed around a central lighting element. The light’s intensity was made random and unique by alternating the shades up or down. True to Serge Mouille's original production philosophy, each piece is made entirely by hand in France using the original forms, molds and techniques created by Mouille nearly 70 years ago. Each piece is stamped and numbered. Only 600 pieces are produced each year at the Mouille factory and distributed around the world. Available in black lacquer on wood platform. • Pablo Designs Pablo Clamp Floor Lamp
    shophorne.com
Understated beauty and an uncompromising level of utility are key to the Pablo design philosophy,” says designer Dana Cannam on his inspiration for Clamp. “The opportunity to extend that sensitivity to a material as essential as wood was a natural transition.” Clamp continues Pablo’s tradition of offering simple, efficient pieces by combining two basic elements — wood and light — in a seemingly oppositional pairing of the natural and the technological. While warm, North American hardwood composes its frame, the most sustainable, energy efficient LED technology comprises its light source. Designed for versatility and portability, the Clamp, freestanding, floor and mini models all include a minimal number of parts that enable infinite adjustment of its warm, diffused light. Designed by Dana Cannam 2011-2012. Features: 360 degree arm rotation. Advanced LED array eliminates multiple shadows. Hi-low dim control. White Oak or Walnut Finishes. Specifications: Voltage 120/220V 60Hz. Power Consumption: 9W. Color Temperature: 3000K. Luminosity: 485 Lumens. 50K Hour Lifespan. Cord Length: 8' Bulb Type : (60x) High Output LED Array.
