Tuesday, May 3 - For a little advertisement, Laci Rivera, owner of Marco Ink, is giving free henna tattoos near the beach.
I stared at Pete's Tinkerbell henna tattoo and just shook my head, "I can't believe you got Tinkerbell!" I laughed, slapping my knee.
"You should get a henna." He said with a grin on his face, "Get Tinkerbell mooning the word." He chuckled to himself.
I tapped my chin, "I want a real tattoo." Maybe my parents would freak out and then ground me...
"No." He quickly said, "Mar!" He called, Mar and Garrett both turned to look at us, "KT wants a legit tat."
"Do it!" Mar giggled as she wrapped her arms around Garrett's waist. I grinned and Pete frowned.
"I'm gunna dooo it!" I giggled. I ran over to the henna stand and Pete was quick to follow, "Laci!" I said, stomping my foot down, "I don't want this fake tattoo bullcrap!" I grinned, "I want a real tattoo."
Laci raised an eyebrow at me, "Where and what?"
I pointed to the bottom outside of my foot, "Live life and then a peace sign next to it." I grinned, real big, and batted my long lashes.
"Fine." Laci gave in, "It'll cost you though. About $130." I handed her my mom's debt card, "Okay, follow me." She stood up from the chair she was in and took me into the shop.
She sketched out 'live life' and cute little curly letters and drew an amazing peace sign. Pete didn't say a word. He was speechless that I was getting a legit tattoo, "Good?" She asked. I replied with a yes and then she directed me towards a black leather chair. I sat down while she was getting her materials out
"I can't believe you are actually doing this..." He muttered, looking in his hands, "You're perfect just the way you are."
"Thank you Bruno Mars." I laughed. Laci sat down in the chair next to my foot and dipped the tattoo gun in black ink and looked at me, "What?"
"Are you ready?" She questioned as a evil grin spread across her tanned face.
"Hellllll yes." I shouted. She dug into my skin and my face twisted up like I was eating a lemon. I grabbed Pete's hand, "Holy bal.ls." I shouted at the top of my lungs. I gripped Pete's hand harder.
"KT. OUCH!" Pete squirmed in his seat, trying to grab his hand back away from me.
"Stop movinggg." Laci called out as she finished the word live. Pete listened and began to endure the pain I was giving his hand.
Mar and Garrett walked in, "You are actually getting a tattoo?" Mar asked, her mouth hanging on the ground.
"Bad.as.s." Garrett nodded his head, "Right on."
"It hurts." I frowned.
Mar's eyes wondered to me and Pete's hands. Her face scrunched up and then she shout me a look that said 'you said you wouldn't go after my brother'. I just shrugged.
"And I'm almost done." Laci mumbled. I nodded, "And done." She scooted away and grinned. It's so you."
I looked down at my new tattoo and smiled. It looked red and puffy but she promised me it'd go down by tomorrow, "I love it." I squealed.
Pete stood up, still holding my hand, and looked at it, "Hey, it's not tooo bad." He grinned.
I rolled my eyes and hopped up, "Ouch." I laughed.
"Is it supposed to hurt to walk?" I questioned.
Laci shrugged, "Sure?" She smiled and went back out to her tent after she used the debt card and handed it back it me.
"Piggy back ride." Pete said, bending down so I could jump on his back. I didn't argue, so in no time I was riding out of the store on Pete's back.
Mar looked at me, "He's not a camel." She said, "And I like your tattoo."
Pete walked away from them without a warning, "I want ice cream." He kept repeating.
We got to the ice cream store two stores down and he set me down on a bench outside. He disappeared into the store, so I began to poke my new tattoo.
"Here, mah lady." Pete said handing me a strawberry ice cream cone.
I grinned, "Thank you, my good sir." I laughed.
Pete winked at me, "Anything for you."
KT's tattoooo (:
