Name: Yvette duFonte
City of Origin: Lille, France
Personal Style: Casual chic. Pretty camisoles and button-downs stolen from her boyfriend back home. Sleek ballet flats, delicate bracelets, and big, round sunglasses.
Bio: Yvette is cool, collected and maybe just a touch too serious. Her father's a history professor and her mother has her own catering company, and while they weren't filthy rich, Yvette never wanted for anything. She loves children and, like her mother, loves to cook. She planned on attending culinary school until her father died days before her high school graduation. Her mother was a mess, so instead of going to Paris to live out her dream, Yvette stayed in Lille, taking care of her mother and making sure her catering business stayed afloat. But now, two years later, her mother is finally starting to improve and is encouraging Yvette to move away and finally live her life. She was accepted to Le Cordon Bleu and has become an Au Pair to make some extra money. Yvette is ready to break out of her serious, self-disciplined self and have some fun in Paris.
Model: Dorothea Barth Jorgensen (is it alright if I change it to Toni Garrn?)

1. Introduce yourself. (ie: What are your strengths? Weaknesses? What are your hobbies and interests? What are you doing in the fall? How do people view you? How do you view them? What is your favorite food, color, etc?)
Hello, My name is Yvette duFonte. I grew up in modest home in Lille to two parents, though my father died a couple of years ago. I loved children and love, love, love to cook-which I guess is something of a hobby as well as something I'm very good at. My favorite color is lilac, I love listening to Frank Sinatra and one of my weaknesses is chocolate croissants.
When it comes to my strengths on the job, I'm very, very organized which can come off as a little bossy. I always have a plan for the day, something the children will enjoy. I love all things culture and art, all of which Paris is known for. I'm also extremely punctual, I hate being late to anything .I'm fluent in French, obviously, as well as Italian, english and German-languages are also something I'm very good at. I plan to take classes at Le Cordon Bleu in the fall and it would be my dream to become a chef.
2. What excites you most about your summer as an au pair in Paris?
Being away from home in a big city. I'm known for being a bit reserved and serious and I'm hoping to experience life to the fullest and take some chances while I'm here. Maybe become a bit less structured.
3. Why did you choose this character?
I chose this character because the style was the closest to my own. And really, I'm in love with the idea of the entire roleplay
