Barcelona: land of fresh seafood, churros, horchata and ham. Where modern mingles with traditional cuisine and the result is truly delicious. We ate our way through the city like our lives depended on it. I've done my best to highlight our favorites, so be sure to click through and read the entire post. I've also included a full list of restaurants and shops at the end of this post, for you to use as a resource when planning your trip to Barcelona (and I wouldn't hesitate, it is easily one of my favorite cities I've ever visited). In case you missed it, our first post here highlights the amazing sights and landmarks of the city. One of the high points of our time in Barcelona was the Sweets Lover Tour we booked one of our first days in town, an experience which was the perfect combination of sugar and history. If I had just eaten sweets for 3 hours straight I'd be comatose, but our guide broke up the sweet treats with bits of history and lore before we moved on to the next spot. We had

Day 5 brought us to Skagway, Alaska, the Northern-most stop on our journey. The only thing more beautiful than the weather was the scenery that greeted us there. (In case you missed it, Part I can be found here). We headed out on a "Skagway in Focus" photography tour, guided by a professional photographer who took us to various locations around the area to up our photography game. It seemed the perfect excursion to see some lesser-known sights and play with our rented camera. In our (seemingly) neverending search of the perfect travel camera, we rented yet another Sony for this trip, this time the Alpha A7II. Noticeably larger than the Sony A6000 we rented for Europe (though still smaller and significantly lighter than my Canon 6D), this camera had the added advantage of a full frame sensor (the A7 series is the only mirrorless full frame camera currently on the market, a definite bonus for me). It took some amazing pictures, even with the basic kit lens (of course, the gorgeous

What can I say, Paris is perfect. Walking through Paris, past the sidewalk cafes and pastry shops and fruit markets, I felt like I was walking in a movie, in that perfectly imperfect kind of way (funny, because one shopkeeper we spoke to said he feels the same way about New York). It's like the whole city was built as a giant movie set, every building painted the same perfect shade of Paris gray. We'd heard April in Paris can be cold and rainy, but we couldn't have asked for better weather. I don't think we saw a single drop of rain the entire 5 days we were there, which, browsing through the thousands of rainy-Paris pictures from the past few weeks, seems like a miracle. We spent our 5 days in Paris meandering the streets, chasing sunsets, flitting from one delicious location to the next (indeed, we let our stomachs guide us). We didn't over-schedule, but rather had a general idea of what neighborhood we'd be exploring on any given day, limiting the 'big' attractions to no more than
