both of us│B.oB ft Taylor Swift
12 JULY 2012 [THURSDAY] time: afternoon location: the beach attire: bring jeans! and a bikini event: Today we’re trying something new: horseback riding. A ranch is located twenty or so miles from home and we’ll be there for the afternoon. The horses will take us on a trail ride along the beach and up to a picnic lunch overlooking the ocean.

“Well you look dressed for horseback riding.”
I didn’t even bother to turn around as Jared stood at my door. “I’m not going horseback riding, clearly.” I replied, dryly.
“So, what are you doing?”
“I’m going into town and I’m going shopping, trying to take my mind off the fact my husband will be visiting in a few days.”
He made an indifferent noise and I rolled my eyes.
“Why do you want to know, anyway?”
“Just wondering.” He shrugged and I grabbed my bag and made past him.
“Well, have fun.”
Walking past all the small little shops, I felt a rush of familiarity from looking at the trinkets and souvenirs that stood in the displays. Stopping outside one window, I smiled as I saw a jewellery box, encased with pretty little shells.
Hearing a knock on the door, I jumped up happily and opened it, giving Danny a quick kiss on his lips.
“What’s that for?” He dumped his bag on the floor, picking me up and kissing me heatedly before putting me back down again.
“I could say the same thing.” I pulled away from him giving him a smile. “How was training?”
He walked over to the couch, sitting down and patting next to him. I took the seat and laid my head on his shoulder. “Training was good, really good. We’re gonna win league at this rate!” I smiled at his enthusiasm. He always looked like a small child when he got excited.
“That’s great babe.”
“Oh, before I forget, I have a present for you in my bag.” I leant back to look at him.
“A present?” He nodded. “For me?” He nodded again. “Yay, what is it?”
“Well go and see.” I went to get up then paused, sitting back down again.
“But your bag is so…sweaty.” He rolled his eyes and stood up, making me smile as he shuffled over to his bag, pulling out a small bag and walking back to me. He held it out and I took it out of his hand, excited to see what was inside it.
“Now, it’s nothing much or big but I noticed you had a bit of an obsession with shells so I thought it would be perfect.” As he was saying this, I pulled out a small jewellery box, encased with small shells, like the ones at the beach house.
“This is…wow. Thank you so much.” I gave him a long, lingering kiss before pulling away, smiling at him. “It’s perfect.”
“Your perfect.” I blushed at his compliment. “When are you ever going to learn to take a compliment?” He laughed and I blushed again.
“Well you should learn because as long as you’re with me then you’ll be hearing them all the time.”
Shaking my at head at the memory, I walked straight past the shop and carried on deeper into town, ready to shop myself out of my sudden depression.
“How was your shopping trip?” Jared didn’t even bother to knock, walking straight into my room.
“Oh yes, come on in Jared. It was fine. How was horseback riding?”
He sat down on the edge of my bed.
“Uncomfortable.” I watched him wince as he shifted on the bed.
“Glad I didn’t go then.” I took my heels off and put them away in my wardrobe, ignoring the stare Jared gave it as I opened the door of it.
Walking over to my bed, I sat near the top end, pulling my knees up to my chest as I looked at Jared.
“So, was there anything else?”
Jared looked put out but didn’t move. “I wanted to talk about the Danny situation.”
I sighed. “Well I don’t, it kind of has nothing to do with you.”
“Yes it does!” He shouted and I glared at him.
“How exactly? Danny is my husband and I will deal with it!”
He held his hands up as he stood. “Fine, whatever. Do not come to me when it all goes wrong, okay?”
He stormed out and I fell backwards on the bed, closing my eyes.
Danny was already causing trouble and he wasn’t even her yet.
Next week was going to be one hell of a ride.
