TELL the judges about yourself in three sentences.
Well my name is Aspen and I am from Coffeyville, Kansas there isn't much special about it just your normal shit whole of a town. And yes it is full of awful people and I was a black sheep but that isn't who I am, I refuse to be some girl who whines about her childhood and how she was picked on. Last thing I am not here to be loveable and I am not here to be cute, I am here to win no matter the cost.
WHEN did you decide you wanted to be a model?
Well I think it all started when I was a young girl. I had this love for fashion even then and coming from a town of 10,000 culture wasn't high there. Desigern there was if you had the word hollister slapped across your boobs and if you did you were incredibly rich because you could afford a shirt that wasn't from walmart. And no I wasn't one of those kids, I got my clothes from my older brothers. But anyway this is leading up to it I promise. A rule at our house is by age 10 you had to have a job and you got to only keep half of that money the rest whent to paying for the food. I had 10 other siblings you see. So I got a job on the paper route and on my first week I ended up with ten dollars, my mom took me to walmart so I could spend it now there isn't a ton you can do with ten dollars and my mother said it had to be partially educational, so I bought a issue of teen vougue (one of the first issues I think) convincing my mother that it would benefit me. Now I can't tell you exactly why I bought it but something about the girl on the cover, she was happy and I guess I wanted a peice of that. So I think in my head I developed this dream of being a model because when I spent my paychecks on the magazines the girls never seemed scared or lonely. If they weren't happy then they were strong and feirce looking. So now that I am grown up I do realize that modeling isn't all smiles and feirceness but when I step in front of that camera the world seems to disappear and my troubles are gone. I would rather have a minute of what I feel behind the camera then a whole life of normality.
WHO is your favourite model?
Hands down Abbey Lee Kershaw. Why you ask? Because she is a badass.
IF you weren’t modelling, what would you be doing?
I honestly couldn't tell you, right now modeling is the only thing I want to do. So who knows if I didn't have this dream I could be working at the coffeyville walmart for all I know.
WHAT is your favourite thing about yourself?
Would it be weird if I said my hands? Yeah I think it would but oh well it is definatley my hands. I don't know why but they are just a really great pair of hands in my opinion.
[ok so this isn't as good as I hoped for as far as a tryout goes but oh well, also I hope that Emily isn't to popular to use. If so just tell me and I have a back up.)
