I sat at the table and smiled at the happy couple. "You can tell that they're in love," I sighed. "They can't keep their eyes off of each other."
"Makes me sick," my older sister Lavender spat. She drank the rest of the champagne in her flute and grabbed another from a nearby tray.
"Lav," I exclaimed. "I didn't let you tag along so you could drink the bar dry."
She rolled her eyes.
Why did I think it would be a good idea to bring her with me? Although she was only two years older than me, she was practically my best friend. Together we ran our bakery that specialized in big events mainly weddings. We both worked on the cakes together but usually she handled the money and I was the one who went out and socialized. Let's just say, I usually got more positive reactions at events than Lav did.
"Oh little Allie poo," she cooed. She cupped my face with her hands. "Calm your nuts."
I laughed. "Seriously though, cool it." She stuck her tongue out at me. "Oh real mature."
Lav flipped me off and ripped a flower from the arrangement in the center of the table. She began to rip the petals off one by one. "Why did I bring a date?"
"Because you wanted to score," I sighed.
"That's not true," she argued.
"Oh really," I raised an eyebrow. "That's what you told me on the way over."
She thought it over for a couple of seconds. A smirk slowly appeared on her face. "Oh yeah, that's right."
"There you two are," the bride, Claudia, exclaimed as she walked over to us.
"Congratulations," I smiled. "You look beautiful."
"Aw thank you," she blushed and turned to my sister, waiting for her compliment.
Lav was being typical Lav. She was preoccupied still with the plucking of the petals. I nudged her and she looked up at Claudia. "I wish you many happy winters."
I shot my sister a glare and she shrugged.
"I just want to say thank you for everything," she smiled.
"We only made the cake," Lav muttered under her breath. "But whateves."
"It's no problem, really," I reassured her.
"The cake is GORGEOUS," she gushed. She then hugged me and then caught Lav off guard by hugging her as well.
Claudia looked at my sister again. Judging by her look she was waiting for her to say something.
"Now go have sex you crazy kids," Lav winked and drank some of her champagne.
Claudia frowned and walked away to go catch up with her new hubby. I just shook my head at my sister and took a slight sip of champagne.
"Hm, now let's play the 'find-Lav-a-guy-to-screw' game," she murmured as she scanned the crowd.
I rolled my eyes. "Really Lav? Can't you go a night without finding some guy to have sex with?"
"You're just upset because you've never really had a boyfriend," she shot.
"Hey," I exclaimed. "If I remember correctly /I'm/ the only one that's been proposed to."
Lav shot me an odd look. "Allie, kindergarten doesn't count."
"I know," I sighed. "Forgive me for wanting my first to be special."
"You're missing out," she sang.
I stuck my tongue out at her just in time to feel someone tap my shoulder. I looked at who the finger belonged to. "Um, hi," I smiled.
"Hi," he nodded. He was cute but then again most guys in suits were cute. "I wanted to know if you'd want to dance."
I looked over at Lav. Her jaw? Could've hit the floor.
I smirked at her before turning back to him and smiled. "I would love to," I smiled and took his hand.

I have soo much planned for Alexandra. It's weird when inspiration hits and I feel bad for missing the cut off date but I was planning on getting this in earlier. Hope that this is good though! :)
