he just seems to be of the generation/mindset that doesnt feel marriage is necessary; content with shacking up for a lifetime and semi-commited; but the minute he gets caught cheating, he can say "aint no ring on my finger." I'll keep them in my prayers.

I'm not saying that a woman can't propose (it's not my style) but when you decided to propose to a man that's skittish about marriage that doesn't seem too wise. For both males and females, shouldn't a proposal be made when you know that the other person is ready to take that step? If they're not ready then work it out or keep it moving (easy to say and harder to do of course).

@kisses4u: "I'll meet you back at the crib" haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! Hubby and I laugh every time we see it. He came in the restaurant and mumbled 'can I talk to you for a second?' the look on her face was priceless. I do like this set. The photos show just how genuine this moment was. I didnt feel it was staged at all, for once.... @barbie: you should NEVER have to push a man into marriage. if he wants you in his life forever, he'll make that move on his own. I hope the best for these two. The love is there, but...... I dunno. --great style, simple and nice!!

@kisses4u LMAO! Yes, I was watching the episode again and I was laughing at how he presented the ring. For her sake I hope that everything works out. From what I've seen though, when a woman has pushed a man and then she finally gets what she wants, (a relationship or ring) she finds out later, even if it's much later, that it wasn't worth having after all.

YES! I thought Jim was gonna throw the ring box at her and say I'll meet you back at the crib...smh. But I still say she rushed it, I know sometimes you have to push a man to do things but Jim just seems like the type that would rather be 'shack 'd up' rather than be 'wifed up' but thats just me *kanye shrug*
