It’s me. It’s been a while. This has been the longest time off Polyvore I’ve had in a year. Three months just flew by. Please ignore how incredibly hideous my set looks. I’m a little rusty. Not that I was ever that good at making sets to begin with. Anyway, I’ve prepared an essay to explain my life for the past 3 months.
So I’ve been really busy with school work. I had a whole bunch of projects in January and then I had mid-terms exams in February. Whoops, I almost wrote Ferbruary there. Ahh, I love Phineas and Ferb. I even made a stain glass thing in art with Perry the Platypus. So yeah, now I’m back in March.
From February 12 to 28, my country hosted the world in the Olympic Winter Games. I am now an extremely proud Canadian. Having the Olympics here at home is the awesomest experience ever. I watched the torch ran by my school. I went downtown to celebrate with fellow Canadians. Congratulations to all the athletes, especially those who had won a medal. Congratulations to Alexandre Bilodeau, who became a hero to all Canadians overnight the night he won the first gold medal on Canadian soil. Also, thanks to the Olympics, I’ve discovered a love for American figure skater, Johnny Weir. He’s not afraid to be himself. He’s strong and confident. He is also the definition of flamboyance, which just happens to be my favourite word. In addition, I’m extremely proud that we won the gold medal in both men’s and women’s hockey. It means so much more that it happened in Canada.
Next week will be Spring Break! I am definitely going to start making sets again. And I look forward to looking at people’s sets too.
