Winners Showcase: Design & Critique "I've Got Rhythm"

Here are the winners of our most recent contest "I've Got Rhythm." Not knowing if I had the concept completely right, I did some research and learned that rhythm was more about movement than about repitition. The winners captured that here. By using repetitive motion so to speak the artists created a rhythm in the set. Essentially you need movement to create rhythm.

"In 1st place is @telynor. I said outloud when I saw this "there's my winner." I love everything about this set, color, texture, composition, depth Everything. The lines draw you in and keep you moving. Perfect rhythm." — @justjules2332
  • Beauty and the Beast
"In 3rd place is @kathy-martenson-sanko. LOVE this set! So much to look at and the spider web is your guide. Taking you from one place to another and setting a slow methodical tone to the set. Excellent!" — @justjules2332
  • Cry
"In 4th place is @colbysma. I loved the different take on the concept. The picture is the same, but with just enough differences that you follow it up, THEN you read the text The negative space also adds to the movement, check it out." — @justjules2332
  • yesterday
"In 6th place is @vervetandhowler. I love this set and it's use of the concept. The TV is the center and the rhythm comes from the implied sound coming out the back and all the pictures coming out the front and the water spilling out. Very interesting!" — @justjules2332
  • Untitled #130
"In 7th place is @ladypiraterose. This simple set was an awesome example of rhythm. Your eyes go to the trees obviously but at each tree you stop and look around, and see all the small details. The depth and texture of the set is very very well done!" — @justjules2332
  • Modern
"In 8th place is @ruby-flip-flops. This interior set captures the concept by way of the stairs and the formation of the furniture. Also the stair railing. Wonderful job and GREAT furniture layout!!" — @justjules2332
  • Shine
"In 9th place is @sundaygray. I love abstracts and this one is way cool. The colors are amazing and the flowers guide you around the set so you can take in all the details. Wonderful!!" — @justjules2332
  • Zebra Donuts Five
"In 10th place is @rawrat. Such a cool set using the stripes of the zebra throughout to create movement, visual interest as well as perfect rhythm. Beautiful set! Yes and donuts!!" — @justjules2332
  • Untitled #241
"In 11th place is @ladyphoenixfirerose. This set used a single picture to create movement and did a perfect job of it. Your eye automatically starts at the edge and stairsteps to the center and rhythm is created from using the same picture. Excellent job!" — @justjules2332
  • Night fuel
"In 12th place is @amethystes. The artist took the repetition of the car and moved us along in the set, thus the car guided our movement through the set. Awesome take on the concept!!" — @justjules2332
