Winners Showcase: Design & Critique "Typography"

I just realized I never did a winners showcase for our Typography contest! Well, let's rememdy that right now! Everyone did an amazing job and you can tell that a lot of time was put into these sets. In the end it was hard to put them in winning order because I loved all of them. Here are the winners!
  • Broken In The End
"2nd place. The layout and colors of this set piqued my interest first, then upon further inspection I was amazed at just how much typography was included in the set. It's your guide as you move around and take in all it has to offer. Awesome job!" — @justjules2332
  • Van Gogh
"3rd place. One of the more clever sets I've seen on PV. First the letters are made from Van Gogh prints, you feel like you are in a museum and then a dose of humor from the running artist. A wonderful story captured in a few items." — @justjules2332
  • Merry Christmas dear POLYVORE TEAM! <3
"4th place: I love the original use of items which make up the letters! Such clever and oh so time consuming to find just the right items! Very original set. Check out the "a" and the "s" in Christmas." — @justjules2332
  • Typography 2
"5th place: This was a fairly simple set, but oh so so clever. It's one of those sets that caught my eye and I did she think of that? Very cool and again, so original and clever." — @justjules2332
  • typography
"6th place: I'm in love with cutouts so when I saw this set I had a little chuckle. Reminded me of a tutorial for how to do a cutout set. Very very clever and quite helpful to be honest with you! :-)" — @justjules2332
  • a picture
"7th place: Very very original! I love the use of typography and pictures together to form this mural of sorts, a talking mural if you will. At first I didn't realize it held a phrase but when I did see it, I couldn't stop looking at everything!" — @justjules2332
  • Dance <3
"8th place: The use of different letters for this message was extremely clever and gave a ton of visual interest to this set! Putting the dancer in a "supporting roll" made the typography pop and gave a sense of depth, both literally and figuratively!" — @justjules2332
  • Typographica
"9th place: The use of texture along with typography makes this set scream for a frame and a wall to hang on. A multitude of colors and lines gives this design structure but at the same time it maintains a playfulness. Wonderful set!" — @justjules2332
  • think.
"10th place: Just a cool set! Very original idea. I like how the typography is bold but you still gravitate to the various colors and thus see the message. A great message! Nicely done." — @justjules2332
