When shopping find a (uniquely) patterned skirt and take one of the more subtle colors of it and put it on the top half of you as a blazer or top.
 
I think this blazer is great because it is different from your typical blazer with the self tie belt. A great spin on a workwear staple -- the blazer.
 
I also wanted to show you can use a bold or basic color pump. I show this in the second look. Again for the red pump I took a subtle color of the skirt and brought it out in the shoe.
 
For the first look you can go with a wide leg black pant a bold shoe or a cool oxford heel, or menswear inspired shoe (very in).
 
I thought the leopard clutch with it was great addition (maybe not with that color oxford but for sure with the style of the shoe)
