It has been getting a little chilly for my country, although most days are still humid. I welcome thy wind to my humble country! (please, save me from the humidity.)
On happier notes, I have got back my results! Finally. After a month. They were better than expected, much better. I would like to thank God for everything he has done for me.
AND ON TO OLYMPIC NEWS:
1) For those who asked (and thanks for the notes of encouragement), my country got third in the individual female table tennis match! Team Singapore :DD
2) Now they are on to the Female Team category, and I am like a chihuahua who needs to pee right now!! Semi-finals match tonight (2am, save me somebody) and I am just asjkdhienwl. So so so excited. God bless Team SG woooohoooo!
3) Idk I was expecting Bolt to just run and win the preliminaries round for 100m (although it is the prelims). Hopefully he will show his true colours during the upcoming finals!
4) Phelps. He finally got his form back when the Olympic season for Swimming is ending. At least he ended on a happy note :)
Oh my nation's birthday is coming!! I just went for the preview of the parade yesterday, and can I just say how flawlesssss it is. It was like a fairytale, not joking. They had Disneyland-worthy fireworks, princesses waving on platforms and fairies dancing around the area. I love it when National Day comes, the atmosphere in the country just gets more "patriotic". Most of the people would encompass it and it is really touching to see fellow countrymen singing songs in unison. I almost cried. I can't imagine the true trueeeeee atmosphere on the real day, 9 August.
Bring on the fire and water works xx
